Wow, it's really been that long since I updated here. A lot has happened since then, though I guess there wasn't much reason to post about it for most of that time.

Now, though, I think the time is right to finally announce my impending second album, titled Seventeen More Times. It's been in progress since the completion of A Terrible Flood; it was at times a slow and agonizing process, but development has hugely picked up in the past year. 11 songs comprising 50 minutes of music are completed at this point, and I have plans to write more before the release. I'm extremely pleased with everything that's going on the album, and to anyone who enjoyed A Terrible Flood, Seventeen More Times should be worth the wait.

When will it be done? Honestly, I'm not sure! Almost certainly before the end of 2010, I would hope.

In the meantime, here's a full preview of Zwei, an upbeat, atmospheric drum and bass song from the album. As with A Terrible Flood, there's a wide range of other styles and moods covered, this being just one of them. I might post some more previews prior to the release.

Long story short, lstorm accidentally deleted all my blog entries. Oops. Thanks to the wonders of Google caches, I was able to get all the entries back. I was meaning to do this a few weeks ago when he accidentally deleted them, but I forgot and/or was lazy. All the really interesting stuff that surely everyone wants to read about is back now, though.

Oops, I forgot to post this a few days ago. Anyway, if you've been waiting to buy A Terrible Flood, now you can! CDBaby has a good number of copies of it now, so it should be available for a while.

It's available! But...uh..it's sold out already! I'll be mailing them a lot more copies as soon as possible.

For the rest of you, you'll have to wait until CD Baby gets the copies I mailed them. Hopefully next week this time, though!

Like, really really soon. I now actually have 100 beautiful shrink-wrapped copies of it in my hands. I'll be mailing a bunch of them off to CD Baby soon for online sales, and I'll be selling them locally starting on Tuesday.

If you have not yet prepared your umbrellas for the impending flood (the terrible one), now would be the time to do so.

Oh, also I redesigned the Esselfortium Myspace to match with the album cover and the new sl4.poned.com design. So check that out I guess!

I'm now running from a Serendipity weblog setup, so the site is much more convenient to update, and the design is significantly less retarded than my old one.
